Just like its counterpart it's an all-in-one dressing to protect wound, manages exudate and self-adhere without causing pain. The additional benefit of silver (Ag) means that the dressing begins to inactivate microorganisms within 30 minutes of application and can be maintained for up to seven days.
The family of Mepilex is made with Safetac Technology that is a specialized silicone layer. This creates a self-adherent dressing with little risk of skin irritation or adhesive allergy while protecting the wound bed every time the dressing is changed.
