McKesson Heel Protector Boot is designed to offload pressure from the heel of a non-ambulatory individual to help prevent decubitus ulcers on the bony heel area of the foot. The hook-and-loop closure system provides various ways to secure the boot. It surrounds the foot with soft cotton material to eliminate friction on the skin. The heel is positioned over an air cavity to eliminate pressure and provide air circulation to aid in the healing of existing ulcers. The printed open-heel and open-toe design provides clear direction for correct positioning. Foam-cushioned sides protect the lateral and medial malleoli. The cozy cloth cover reduces skin shear and wicks away moisture. The anti-foot-drop construction controls dorsal flexion. The boot is launderable and reusable. It is equipped with three-hole options on each side for DVT pressure devices. Not made with natural rubber latex.
