Adjustable Footrest
The seat is mounted to a sturdy metal frame with an adjustable footrest that achieves three footrest heights. A spring-loaded knob at the front legs makes it simple and easy to adjust the desired footrest height. The Lumex Everyday Hip Chair also comes with a textured footrest ensuring an anti-slip surface for increased safety as the user repositions.
How to Adjust the Height
- Start on either the left or right side and pull the footrest height knob outward and rotate the knob a quarter-turn to lock the knob.
- Then repeat on the other side to the outward position.
- Lift the footrest up or down to any of the three heights to achieve the desired height.
- Turn the knob back to unlock the knob to maintain that height.
- Repeat to the opposite side.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Use a soft cloth and dampen with mild soap and water. Wipe the upholstery and steel frame and dry with a fresh, dry cloth.

- Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads to clean any part of the hip chair.
