How Do You Heat Lansinoh TheraPearl?

Check your microwave settings to know the watts. Microwave the packs individually using the time that corresponds with the watts. Test and increase the time by five-second increments but do not microwave for more than 25 seconds. Always test the temperature before the application to the breast. Place in the purple sleeve to protect the skin during therapy.

If you prefer to heat with boiling water, remove the pot from the heat source and immerse the gel packs for 8-10 minutes. Wipe off the water and slip on the fabric cover.

How to Use TheraPearl

Decide if you want hot or cold breast therapy using the steps found above. Make sure the cover is in place and mold to the breast. When encouraging letdown during pumping, unsnap the purple cover and wrap the pack around the pump flange and then snap back into place before placing onto the breast for pumping.

How to Clean the Therapearl Therapy Packs

Clean the plastic surface with a mild soap or detergent and water. Rubbing alcohol can also be used to wipe down the surface and then rinse with water. The fabric cover can be hand washed or machine washed.
