The ICU Medical Primary IV Administration Set includes a side clamp for the closing or flow-through of the solution being administered - the side clamp gradually opens up for another moderate use of flow regulator. A secure lock is also equipped in the iv line in order to be attached to a standard luer locking device for a secured connection with the reduction of accidental disconnections. A key feature to both options is the CAIR clamp that gives you the capability to roll the flow of medication through the line; it is just another device to control the flow with the opportunity to regulate the flow to a precise point.
