What are the Wear & Hear BeHear NOW & ACCESS Assistive Hearing Headsets? These Bluetooth headsets help those with limited hearing to hear distinct sounds while outdoors, listening to music, or talking on the phone. Using ListenThrough sound enhancement technology, which is a smart algorithm, the Alango hearing products block out unwanted noises while still letting users engage with their environment. Additionally, the headsets use EasyListen technology to slow down speech up to a maximum-allowed delay to assist with messages or telephone speakers who are hard to understand.

The NOW Headset (Alango ABH-101) acts as a sound amplifier and can amplify sound in four different environments: Indoor, Outdoor, Crowd, and Live Music. The ACCESS Hearing Amplifier (Alango ABH-120) can amplify sound in the same way as the NOW, but the ACCESS uses Induction Loop Systems, which are found in some hearing aids and theaters, to cut out interference, reverberation, and background noise.

There is also the option of using the BeHear HearLink device with the BeHear NOW. The HearLink TV Transmitter sends audio from a TV with an analog audio out port directly to the BeHear Now Headset and supports low-latency audio streaming. The transmitter can also use AVRCP commands, such as play, pause, stop, etc., to effectively control the headset's audio. Because the TV link can use dual streaming, two BeHear headsets can be connected to the TV link at the same time.

Users can test their hearing by downloading and using the free W&H BeHear app or meeting with an audiologist. One can then adjust the level of ambient hearing for their assistive listening devices to meet their hearing needs using the BeHear app.
