Proper Slope/Incline
EZ-ACCESS Ramp systems have an ideal slope of 1:12 (approximately 5 degrees), which is also the maximum slope called for in ADA guidelines. However, the system can be installed at slopes ranging from 1:14 to 1:8, or approximately 4 to 7 degrees. Do not attempt to install the ramp at an incline outside of this designated slope range.

Because EZ-ACCESS designs its ramps with safety in mind, handrails are standard on platforms.
How should ice and snow removal be handled?
After snow is shoveled and the tread surface is swept clean, magnesium chloride may be used to melt snow and ice accumulation on the ramp. Once snow and ice are no longer a concern, clean the tread surface with mild soap and water to remove residue. Please refer to the user manual for complete snow removal and de-icing instructions.
