The E-Z Release Belt Alarm System by Skil-Care is a non-restrictive wheelchair safety belt that is designed to alert caregivers in the event that a patient leaves or falls from their wheelchair. It is non-restrictive and comfortably holds the patient into the wheelchair.

It comes with a Velcro closure and magnetic switch, which is replacement guaranteed for up to 1-year after the date of purchase. The manufacturer guarantee covers possible defects in workmanship under standard use and conditions. Note: this belt is not a substitute for regular caregiver supervision. Regular monitoring for fall-risk and wander-risk patients is recommended to ensure safety.

It is easily installed and operates with two AA batteries. The alarm comes with a high and low volume option to accommodate the needs of each individual. Safety reminders include regularly checking battery strength, which is easily done by checking the alarm LED, if it is not glowing the batteries need to be replaced.
