Overview

The DJO Aircast AirSelect Standard Walking Boot is designed with a semi-rigid shell that provides maximum protection and support to the foot and ankle. It features dual adjustable distal aircells within the shell that provides a moderate level of malleoli support and compression, which helps with the injury healing process. The Aircast AirSelect Walker (DJO 01EF-M) is ideal for supporting the foot and ankle to promote fast healing from fractures, trauma, sprains, and for post-operative healing.

The AirSelect Standard Walker is designed with SoftStrike technology that helps absorb and dissipate shock on impact. It is lightweight and has a rocking sole that allows for a natural gait. This walking boot helps promote and support everyday activities while providing comfort and stability. The AirSelect Standard Medium size brace fits women's shoe sizes 8-11 and men's shoe sizes 7-10.

How to Prepare and Apply the Aircast Standard Brace

1. Loosen/unfasten the straps.
2. Remove the front panel and open the liner.
3. Take a seat and slide your foot into the brace.
4. Position the heel into a comfortable position against the back of the boot.
5. Wrap the liner around the foot and then leg.
6. Replace the hard front panel.
7. Adjust the panel so the Aircast logo is over the toes.
8. Secure each strap from bottom to top and tighten to the user's comfort level.

How to Adjust the Aircell Compression

1. Start inflation on the injured side first. Rotate the SELECTOR on the right side of the brace to the designated number for adjustment. Number 1 controls the aircell on the right, Number 2 controls the aircell on the left.
2. To inflate the aircells, press and release the pump located on the top of the right side. Continue to pump until the brace feels snug. Repeat on both sides.
3. To deflate the aircells, adjust the SELECTOR to the desired number and press the small release button found on the right side of the brace. For best results, deflate the aircells before removing the brace to ensure a proper fit when reapplied.

How to Clean the AirSelect Brace

1. Remove the foam liner.
2. Hand wash with mild detergent in cold water.
3. Hang liner to dry.
4. May be wiped clean with a wet cloth.

*Do not use any type of heat source to dry the liner
