Sterile Covidien 6725 Kerlix™ Gauze Rolls by Covidien is a unique 6-ply, crinkle-woven gauze. This design absorbs wound exudate and offers breathability when used as a primary wound dressing. It is also versatile as a secondary dressing. The 6-ply adds loft to cushion the wound when used under compression. The weave conforms well to the wound, making application easy when dressing burns. With finished edges, no lint will disturb the wound bed. The roll creates a controlled, customized application where additional layers can be added if needed.
The gauze comes packaged sterile, ensuring it won't cross-contaminate the wound and introduce bacteria. It is made of 100 percent cotton to avoid skin irritation. The roll measures 3.4 inches wide on a 3.6-yard roll. It is available in a pack of 12 rolls or a case of 96 rolls.
