Comply Lead Free Steam Indicator Tape 1 Inch x 60 Yards

3M Comply Lead-Free Steam Indicator Tape has pressure-sensitive adhesive to secure to seal packs during the steam sterilization process. Hospital operating room supplies are sterilized to ensure bacteria isn't introduced to the patient. Comply Indicator Tape seals sterilization packs and changes from beige to a darker color for visual assurance of proper sterilization. The darker color is from a lead-free chemical ink that's printed in a diagonal striped pattern. This indicator tape is intended only for steam sterilization at 250 to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not to be used for dry heat, ethylene oxide or low-temperature sterilization.

The tape uses a latex-free stretchable backing to maintain the seal of the pack as steam is introduced during the sterilization cycle. It also adheres to a variety of wrap materials, including cotton, poly blends, paper, and plastic. The tape can be written on or labeled. When the sterile pack is ready for use, do not remove the tape from wrap as it can introduce lint to the sterile instruments.
