Biatain Alginate Dressing, manufactured by Coloplast, is specifically designed for moderate to heavily exuding wounds that are partial to full thickness, such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and donor sites.
The design and structural integrity of Coloplast Biatain Alginate Dressings allow you to cut the dressing to fit your specifc needs, both size and shape. The dressing will conform to your wound bed, which is vitally important for the healing process. Its unique design, furthermore, allows for one-piece removal.
Offering superior absorption, the Biatain Alginate Dressing locks exudate inside the gel, preventing leakage that can lead to maceration of the surrounding skin. On contact with exudate, this dressing converts to a soft, cohesive gel that provides an optimal moist wound healing environment.
