Assura AC Drainable Two-Piece Pouch provides ostomy patients with the convenience of a two piece pouch while still maintaining the benefits of a one piece pouch. As a two piece system, there are fewer changes to the skin barrier which is gentler on the skin. However the adhesive coupling system attaches the pouch to the skin barrier securely while still allowing flexibility so you can keep up with your life without worry about the pouch becoming detached, even during aggressive output. When this happens, the pouch and adhesive are able to last and resist break down.
Assura AC Drainable Ostomy Pouch is drainable and reusable. The bag is simple to empty and clean. After cleaning, the pouch can be tightly secured with the hook and loop closure. The coupling system is color coded for easy identification on which skin barriers will match and have the right fit every time. While the pouch itself is available in three different sizes, there are four different color couplings available.
In addition to the convenience and security, the Drainable Assura AC Pouch is also comfortable. The soft backing reduces irritation on the skin by absorbing moisture and reducing the chance of rashes. The backing is also water-repellant so it dries quickly after a shower or when swimming. The filter (optional) keeps the bag from expanding and reduces uncomfortable bulges. This also makes the pouch incredibly discreet.
