Z2 CPAP Travel and Auto Machines Overview
Taking a big, bulky CPAP machine along for business or personal travel can be uncomfortable and daunting, from packing the device and all its equipment to lugging it through airport security. To address these common complaints, Breas Medical designed the Breas Z2 Auto Travel CPAP Machines to be travel-friendly. The Z2 line of CPAP products contains the lightest, smallest, and most full-featured device found anywhere.
The former Human Design Medical Z2 Travel Cpap Unit or HDM Z2 Auto Travel CPAP Device is now manufactured by Breas. It weighs only 10 ounces and won't take up more than a small corner of a suitcase. Because the Z2 measures only 36 cubic inches and 6 inches tall, the user can either stand it up or lay it down on a nightstand. The footprint won't take up more than 12 square inches. The Breas CPAP machines do not require a special mask and passes the Federal Aviation Administration specifications for in-flight use.
CPAP and APAP Options
The Z2 CPAP Base System is a fixed-pressure machine that constantly supplies air at the same pressure during sleep time. A "Z-Breathe" Algorithm detects how much air is needed to relieve exhalation pressure. Built-in software allows the user to view their sleep patterns by connecting via USB to a Windows-based computer.
The Z2 Auto APAP automatically adjusts the pressure as the user sleeps, allowing for a better nighttime experience by auto-adjusting to the user's breathing pattern. The Auto System uses the same algorithm as the CPAP for pressure relief but is compatible with Android and iOS devices so users can view data on the go if needed.
