BD Nokor Filter & Admix Needles Overview

The BD Nokor Filter and Admix Needles use a universal fitment to work with most all needleless syringes for a secured connection through the Luer hub type.

The BD Filter Needle 19-gauge (BD 305200) has a 1½-inch length, with a 5-micron filter membrane tip; or choose the 18-gauge (BD 305201) with a 1½-inch BD Nokor filter needle with 5-micron filter membrane tip. The molded filter filters out any specimen bigger than 5 microns, keeping contents pure, with less undesirable contaminants. The BD Admix Needles come in two options: 18 gauge (BD 300779) with a 1½-inch needle length; and 16 gauge (BD 300780) with a 1-inch needle length. The needle tips provide no outside bacteria or other elements that may distort the specimen as they have been sterilized by radiation directly before packaging and then sealed in a tight package.

The needles are not made with natural rubber latex, enabling them to be used with a more general range of patients. After the needle has been used, it can be disposed of in a sharps container to help reduce the risk of illness spreading to keep facilities safe for staff and patients.
