The foot rests swing away for easy entry and exit or can be removed if they are not needed at all. For additional ease of access, the rear brakes hold the wheels in place to prevent movement and provide a stable base. The sturdy steel frame and nylon upholstery is able to hold a weight of up to 300 lbs. This basic steel chair comes with a seat belt to ensure patients stay in place during transport. As an additional safety measure, it is recommended to use the Wheelchair Rear Anti-Tip Devices. When not in use, the back rest folds down for more compact storage.
