The Bard Medical Baker Jejunostomy Catheter is designed to help with the prevention treatment of intestinal obstruction caused by fibrous bands of tissue (adhesions) in the abdomen that form after surgery. The Jejunostomy Catheter is made with a thumb valve and a double-lumen design. This unique design allows for balloon inflation through one lumen while allowing decompression through two eyes that are distal to the balloon. This catheter is designed for single-patient use, is non-sterile, and disposable. The tube is made from translucent plastic, which allows the contents to be viewed unobstructed. It is made for adult use, has a 15 cc latex balloon, 108 inch length tubing, and is 16FR.
