The Aspen Horizon 631 LSO Back Brace is a lumbar-sacral orthosis with sagittal control that offers rigid support from the sacral region to the T-9 vertebra. The brace provides trunk stability to fatigued muscles after back surgery or injury. It uses a pull-through sizing mechanism and adjusts without using tools. This corset-style brace fits waist sizes 24 to 50 inches. Once the back brace is properly fitted, upper and lower compression is applied using the front pull strings. The compression reduces back pain by supporting tight muscles while improving blood circulation to those tissues. The rigid support combined with compression helps the patient regain an active lifestyle while recovering. Interior FlexTabs provide midline support and disperse pressure to aid in comfort for patient compliance. Another advantage to the Horizon line of back braces is that the rigid back panel is removable and the brace can be stepped down as needed to continue to wear the brace for ongoing pain control through different stages of recovery.

The Horizon 631 LSO Back Brace is fitted by securing the midline panels. Using the right and left pull strings, the user gently pulls the strings to create independent compression to the lower and upper compartments. With the SlickTrack mechanism, the strings glide easily to provide immediate compression without requiring a lot of hand strength.

Yes. Submerge the brace in water with a mild detergent and allow the brace to air dry.

Can I wear the brace under clothing?
Yes. It can be worn over or underneath clothing. It can be worn against the skin, but the manufacturer recommends the user wear an undershirt for optimal comfort.
