Sizing
The Aspen Cervical Thoracic Orthosis Brace fits patients with a torso circumference of 26-53 inches. The size selected is based on the neck length for the best fit of the cervical collar. To determine the appropriate size, refer to the color guide found in the size chart must be printed. With the head in a neutral place, place the guide chart at the highest point of the trapezius. Create an imaginary perpendicular line from the bottom of the chin to find the corresponding color. The colors are for the adult sizes:

How long is the CTO brace worn?
Generally, patients wear the brace day and night for at least three months. The duration will vary per patient under the direction of the doctor.

Wear only the cervical collar while sleeping.
Can the patient operate a vehicle while wearing the brace?
No. Due to the neck restriction in the cervical collar, driving a car is prohibited.
How often do the pads need to be cleaned?
The manufacturer recommends washing the pads daily.
Are the pads machine washable?
No. The pads are to be cleaned by hand using a mild soap or face wash and water. Pat dry with a towel and lay out to air dry.
