This highly absorbent dressing is ideal for pressure ulcers and other highly exuding wounds. As a super absorbent dressing it has an excellent uptake of wound exudate. This moisture-locking system is found within its layers containing gel-forming capsules. It begins to swell as the exudate and bacteria enters the dressing and gets locked in which aids the healing process.
Eclypse® Adherent has a water-resistant barrier that prevents strike-through and leakage. It's also breathable with moisture vapor transfer to make for longer and comfortable wearability. With its exudate management capability, the dressing can be worn up to seven days.
Its silicone adherent backing is a feature that patients with contact sensitivity boast about. It makes for easier dressing changes with its low profile and gentle silicone construction to not harm the delicate skin.
