Portable Oxygen Concentrator System Review

Regina (Most Helpful Review)

After being diagnosed with bronchitis, my life was never the same again. I frequently have to make sure that I lug around an oxygen concentrator when I travel for emergency. Before I had a system that is too big that I had to use a stroller so I can roll it easily. With Inogen One Portable Concentrator, that problem was solved. It's also great that it comes with a lithium battery which means that I can use it without plugging it. Really great for a traveler like me.

Lightweight Portable Concentrator

Sammy (Most Helpful Review)

The Inogen G3 concentrator provides me with a low weight solution. Not only is this the smallest portable I have seen, it is also the least weight--less than 5 pounds with the battery. It takes a few minutes to get the concentrator to ramp-up to the desired concentration level. Three sixteen cell batteries will keep the concentrator going for a full 24 hours!

Portable Oxygen Concentrator Review

Isabelle (Most Helpful Review)

It is really great that this device exists now that my therapist advised me to be under oxygen therapy. I like traveling and it became a real hassle for me because I had to tow an oxygen tank everywhere I go. But with this portable oxygen concentrator, I am now able to travel as most plane allows it to be on board. I really love it!

looks like a suitcase

Ryan (Most Helpful Review)

The Devilbiss iGo was a great purchase. This portable oxygen concentrator looks like a travel suitcase. With the continuous flow oxygen feature, I can finally have a portable oxygen machine.

Claims for machine way overstated.

BoomerG (Most Helpful Review)

Heavier than claimed. Batteries don't last but a fraction of time claimed in literature and owners manual. Lot's of problems operating in car. With two batteries ran out of juice 2 hours into 4 hour flight on pulse at 2 leaving me gasping for air. Also large enough to be problematic in crowded places like restaurants. Pull cart continually overturns. Very disappointed in machine.

Decent

Ron (Most Helpful Review)

I've had to replace this unit 3 times due to breakdowns over last 2 years. Concetrator not reliable, and battery life extremely short (on average 45-60 min). Company itself is slow to respond, and getting replacement/repaired cost $150, even still under warranty.

Concentrator permits freedom of mobility including travel

Katherine (Most Helpful Review)

I purchased this concentrator for my 92 year old Mother. It allows us to go out, without taking tanks with us to switch out and not being concerned about running out.of oxygen. I have concerns about the tanks in a hot car here in Las Vegas. In the car the DC adapter saves the battery, and the AC adapter works well in the hotel room..We are planning a trip/vacation to Hawaii in December, something we couldn't have done with out it.

Outstanding Product for Active 5-LPM Users

Ben (Most Helpful Review)

I refuse to let my requirements for supplemental oxygen stop me from enjoying life. When out and about, I need 5-6LPM. Thank goodness Oxlife saw the deficit in products to meet that need. My wife and I recently took a week-long trip and for the first time in 5 years, the only oxygen concentrator I took was my new Oxlife Independence. I hauled it up and down Kentucky hills during the daytime on battery, re-charged the batteries while driving between destinations, and hooked my C-PAP up to it and used it plugged into the wall-plug at night. I have owned 2 other portable concentrators and they made me feel that travel was moving into an activity I needed to give up...thank goodness my Oxlife Independence changed that. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I wanted a control system that my nearly blind wife could work with. This was the right solution. She can now control her oxygen without my help.

Nothing beats the Helios lightweight with long service time

Alice (Most Helpful Review)

The Helios liquid oxygen has a very low weight even when filled and yet last all day for me. Oxygen concentrators would run out of battery life way before the end of the day. I am a new convert to liquid oxygen and love the new freedom this offers me.

AirSep Portability

Larry (Most Helpful Review)

These AirSep Concentrators are all about portability. I got there largest size portable oxygen concentrator and find that it still is very low weight so it is not so heavy on me. At less than 6 pounds with a battery, I can go to lots of places I use to avoid.

I bought this oxygen concentrator because I was going on a trip and couldn't bring a bunch of tanks. I like using the Oxus and I go out more now.
