Kinesio Tex Tape is designed as a muscle facilitator that helps support the natural healing process of your body. Kinesio Tape allows you to support your muscles while maintaining normal circulation and natural movement, something that traditional Sports Taping fails to do. Other than a general muscle support, Kinesio Tape has also been used to treat carpal tunnel syndrome, lymphedema, chronic swelling, back strains, back pain, ankle sprains, herniated discs, subluxations, knee conditions, shoulder conditions, hamstring or groin injuries, rotator cuff injuries, whiplash, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, patella tracking, pre- and post-surgical Edema, and more. Kinesio tape can even be used for common maladies like headaches and stiff muscles.
Kinesio Tape is also available in pre-cut configurations to support specific muscle groups, including the back, neck, shoulder, knee, wrist and foot. The Kinesio Pre-cut Tape is designed to support pain caused by muscle strain or ligament sprain. Each pre-cut pack contains a single-use customized set of tape strips with application instructions.
Kinesio Pre-Cut Back – supports over stretched back muscles, lower back pain, lumbago and sciatica.
Kinesio Pre-Cut Neck – provides support for neck pain caused by muscle strain or ligament sprain.
Kinesio Pre-Cut Shoulder – provides support for shoulder muscles, treat rotator cuff injuries and relieve shoulder pain.
Kinesio Pre-Cut Knee – supports knee and patella, alleviates associated pain and swelling, supports runner’s knee.
Kinesio Pre-Cut Wrist – supports carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist support and alleviates associated pain.
Kinesio Pre-Cut Foot – designed for plantar fasciitis, supports arch of the foot and alleviates associated pain.
How to Use Kinesio Tape
Instead of wrapping around a joint for support or other stability purposes, Kinesio taping is a unique elastic tape that is applied over muscles 24 hours a day for up to five days to support your muscles and their natural processes. We suggest purchasing one of the Kinesio tape accessories listed above to help you get started and at least a few rolls of varying widths. One great option for anyone just getting started is the Illustrated Taping Manual which covers the essentials of Kinesio taping in a step-by-step process. There is also the Kinesio Perfect Manual which covers common clinical conditions such as headaches, back pain, and muscle stiffness. Other support materials include a manual for lymphoedema patients, a manual for anyone using Kinesio tape in pediatrics, a detailed manual for use of Kinesio tape for clinical reasons, an instructional DVD with real-life taping demonstrations, and Kinesio scissors that are designed specifically for Kinesio tape.
It is also suggested that you wait one hour before participating in sports or immersing the tape in water (i.e. swimming or showering). Due to naturally accruing sweat and clamminess on hands and feet, Kinesio taping is especially useful due to its water resistance.

I'm not sure if I will order more tape. I encountered a problem with the tape sticking to my skin for the time indicated. The edges of the tape just didn't stick well and once they start coming off it only lasted for one or two days. I wonder if I got a bad batch or for some reason the tan tape doesn't stick as well as other colors.

I've been using this product for several years and it gives excellent results when utilized correctly. Rapid rehab of acute injuries, pain, edema relief and retraining of muscles. I recommend taking the class from the original group of instructors. I've heard and seen other instructors who teach that it doesn't work or use it incorrectly and there has been an increase of copycat products. My only complaint is that when they changed the adhesive, I had to decrease the length of time of tape wear to reduce skin reactions such as redness and welting. I recently was informed that applying maalox, mylanta or peptobismol to the skin, allowing it to dry before tape application was helpful. I've tried it and it works.
Great Product Delivered Fast

I like this tape because it has give and breathes, unlike regular adhesive tape. The delivery was very fast, only a day or two.

I love training myself. I love to grow my muscle bigger and firmer. But the thing is it can give me severe muscle pain sometimes. Whenever I have this horrible pain, it's not a problem anymore since I have this wonderful tape! It does give me support in my muscle. Also love the color. How vivid it is!
Kinesio Tape Review

(Posted on 4/7/11)
I don't usually do reviews of product, but the Kinesio tape is so incredible I have to brag that I use it. When I was still playing volleyball in high school, everyone tapes their fingers with white masking tapes so when I taped using a pink one, they were amazed. They asked to use my tape that game and then all of them bought one for themselves. Until now, I use it when I go hiking or rock climbing, to support my fingers, hands and shoulders.
Kinesio Tape is Great!

Kinesio Tape is not bulky like some supports and braces, and I can leave it on! It gives just enough support to ease the pain, but doesn't restrict. Love the colors!
