These super foley catheters are amazing! While they are expensive, this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. These silicone infection control caths literally glide into place. My RN had a lot of trouble inserting my caths. In desperation, I went online and researched caths. Several blogs for paraplegics and other cath users recommended these caths. Sediment does not easily block them and seems to be less copious due to the silicone material. Infections are reduced. They are easily inserted (3 seconds flat) snd very comfortable. My home health agency buys the el cheapo caths and I had nothing but trouble with those inferior caths. The only minor downside to these caths is the lubrication makes it easier for them to move down during transfers if you are not careful. Vitality Medical has the best prices and service around.
