Zenimedical ZeniFOAM Gentle Border Dressing is a 5-layer foam dressing that is perfect for moderate to heavily exuding wounds. It can be used as a primary or secondary dressing. It isn’t made with natural rubber latex for those with skin sensitivities. The dressing is lint-free and keeps the wound clean during the healing process. It is flexible and easily conforms to various body parts.

Breathable

A High Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (MVTR) allows vapor to escape the dressing, reducing the risk of skin maceration.

Waterproof Barrier

The outermost layer is waterproof and protects the wound as it heals.

Silicone-Faced Contact Layer

The dressing doesn’t stick to the wound bed.

Absorbent Polyurethane (PU) Foam

A soft second layer absorbs exudate and gently cushions the wound.

The ZeniFOAM layers work together to protect the wound and provide optimal absorbency.

1. Waterproof Backing – The top layer guards the wound against water and bacteria from entering, helping to prevent skin maceration and infection.
2. Polymer Core – The super absorbent core absorbs and stores exudate.
3. Nonwoven Layer – This layer enhances absorption and evenly distributes exudate.
4. Polyurethane Foam – The PU foam cushions the wound and adds more absorbency power.
5. Silicone Contact Layer– The contact layer is silicone that doesn’t stick to the wound bed. The adhesive border can be easily and painlessly repositioned according to the user’s needs.
