The VitalGo Total Lift Bed is a revolutionary ICU bed made to mobilize patients earlier in their treatment. With the adjustable platform and weight-bearing control, the bed tilts at any angle or moves into a chair position. The self-adjusting powerfFoot lifter footboard moves toward the patient's feet, and once in contact, lifts the bed gently to the set angle and weight-bearing ratio. While tilting, the bed, support straps, and foot lifter work simultaneously to reduce sliding and keep the patient stable. The foot lifter displays the change in weight bearing as the bed tilts, so caregivers can measure patient progress easily. Once the hospital bed has been fully raised, the foot lifter keeps the feet at ground level and provides a unique opportunity for patients to step off onto the floor when they are ready for completely self-supported weight bearing.

The Total Lift Bed has two built-in scales, one in the sleep deck and one in the foot lifter. These scales allow caregivers to accurately measure how much pressure the patient is bearing and how well the patient can tolerate the pressure, weight, and angle. Caregivers can adjust the settings of the bed following a patient's predetermined treatment program to achieve the best outcomes.
