The dressing uses a strong adhesive that keeps the peripheral catheters securely in place but removes gently to help prevent damage to the skin The window dressing has a two-part adhesive-backed foam cushion that protects the skin from discomfort caused by catheter hubs. The adhesive allows the dressing to be worn for up to 96 hours.
