The Urocare Urinary Drainage Bottle is intended for convenient bedside urinary drainage. It's connected to a catheter such as a Foley, suprapubic, or Male External Catheter, or it may be used for urostomy and ileostomy draining applications. The bottle is made of durable, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic so it can be cleaned and reused over and over.
At the bedside, it's important to be able to drain urine without worrying about the bottle tipping over. Urocare designed the bottle with a large surface area to prevent tipping along with long 60-inch tubing. It's designed with large finger loops and hooks on each side to hang the bottle and assist when the bottle is transferred from one location to another. The newly designed anti-reflux valve is patented and boasts high-flow and self-cleaning capability. This prevents urine backflow and allows fast, uninterrupted urine drainage.
The Urocare Bedside Urinary Drainage Bottle (Urocare 4100) has a 2-liter volume capacity. It is recommended to clean the bottle and fluid path with Urolux, a urinary and ostomy appliance cleaner designed to dissolve urine crystal buildup.
