Ultra-Care Excel Mattress System combines alternating pressure therapy, low-air-loss, and a layered air-and-foam surface for pressure ulcer management during bed-based care. 20 rows of 5-inch alternating pressure air cells move air through the upper surface, while the 3-inch integrated foam base helps prevent bottoming out.
Ultra-Care Excel Pump system runs static and alternating-pressure therapy with a digital high-output pump that maintains the low air loss benefit in either mode. The ventilated nylon/polyurethane cells help reduce moisture at the sleep surface, and the CPR quick deflate valve allows faster air release during care response.
The full system pairs the mattress and cover with either an 8 LPM pump or a 12 LPM pump, making pump output the main difference between the two system choices. When the air surface is still usable, the replacement cover only item refreshes the top layer with a quilted nylon zipper cover that is low shear, fluid-resistant, and vapor permeable.
