TwoPress 2 Lite 2-Layer Compression Bandaging System

TwoPress 2 Lite is a reduced-compression, two-layer system for patients who cannot tolerate full-compression therapy. This makes it ideal for patients with mild to moderate peripheral artery disease and an ABI/ABPI score of 0.6–0.8. Note: the Lite system is not the same configuration or ABI range as standard TwoPress 2.

The system combines a short-stretch padding layer with a cohesive compression layer. Indicators on both layers guide correct stretch and 50% overlap during application.

The cohesive layers lock together to resist slipping. Application must account for anatomy, pressure points, skin condition, and the patient’s response. Suitability depends on clinical assessment, compression tolerance, and the manufacturer’s contraindications and precautions.

Wear time should be individualized based on wound condition, skin condition, edema, and clinical monitoring.

Indications

• Mixed etiology leg ulcers
• Venous leg ulcers
• Venous edema
• Lymphedema
• Post-traumatic edema
• Deep leg thrombosis

Contraindications

• Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD) with critical ischemia
• Decompensated heart failure (NYHA III + IV)
• Phlegmasia coerulea dolens
• Ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI) less than 0.6
• Septic phlebitis
• Florid erysipelas

Warnings

Stop using and seek medical attention if any of the following occur:

• Sensibility disorders of the extremities
• Weeping dermatoses
• Allergic reaction to the bandage’s material
• Primary chronic polyarthritis
