Toboggan Arm/Leg Guards by AliMed are clear, radiolucent shields made from Vivak, an impact-resistant material that allows imaging without obstructing views. The guards help keep a patient's arms and legs on the table during interventional and imaging procedures while providing a smooth barrier along the table edge.
Each guard slides under the table pad so the patient’s weight holds it in place, avoiding the need for clamps or hardware. The design helps reduce the risk of accidental line dislodgement and supports protection of vulnerable areas such as the ulnar nerve from excess pressure at the table edge.
Toboggan Arm/Leg Guards can be used as part of a Trendelenburg positioning setup with AliMed’s Trendelenburg Stabilizer, and the stabilizer straps are long enough to secure around the guards when additional restraint is required.
