It is designed to pack deep cavity wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and diabetic ulcers. It can also be used under compression bandaging. This packing dressing removes excess drainage, keeps the wound moist, and prevents foreign bodies from entering the wound for the best healing environment. The important LiquaLock locks in fluid and prevents skin maceration. TIELLE can be cut to fit the wound and may even be folded to get into the cavity or sinus region. The dressing can handle high levels of exudate when used in combination with a cover secondary dressing. TIELLE Hydropolymer Dressing is gentle on the most fragile skin and deep cavity wounds. The high absorption of the LiquaLock also means fewer dressing changes. The packing will not stick to the wound and can be left in place for up to seven days, depending on the wound condition.
