Tidy Toilet Pressure Pads, manufactured by Smart Caregiver, are small pressure sensors that you apply underneath the bathroom toilet seat. You may choose this product if you work in a facility with fall risk patients, and you want to augment fall prevention measures.

This toilet pressure pad is designed to complement the FallGuard Economy Alarm and Recordable Voice Fall Monitor.

The pressure pad is liquid resistant, so if water or urine splashes onto the sensor, it will still properly function.

This product works by sensing pressure. Including an adhesive Velcro™ strip, you are able to secure the Sensor underneath the seat. As soon as a patient sits down on the toilet, the system recognizes pressure. When a patient attempts to stand up, the system recognizes the removal of pressure and signals an alarm, which alerts staff that a patient is ready for ambulation.
