Kendall Healthcare Telfa AMD Antimicrobial Non-Adherent Dressing measures 3" L x 4" W and has a rectangle shape. It is sterile and sold individually. These nonadherent Telfa AMD antimicrobial sponges are impregnated with pHMB (Polyhexamethylene Biguanide), a powerful and safe antiseptic. It effectively works against a broad range of microorganisms, including some multidrug-resistant strains like MRSA. This product offers healthcare facilities a low-cost, prophylactic treatment method without changing nursing protocols. The Telfa AMD antimicrobial sponge's nonadherent dressing has a perforated mylar film with an absorbent core, making it ideal for use as a primary dressing for lightly draining wounds.

It contains pHMB (Polyhexamethylene Biguanide), resists bacterial colonization within the dressing, and reduces bacterial penetration through the dressing. Its broad-spectrum effectiveness provides protection against gram-positive and fungi/yeast microorganisms, including MRSA and VRE. The unit of measure is sold by the package (PK) with 50 dressings per package.
