Robertazzi Nasopharyngeal Airway is a soft, flexible “nasal trumpet” used to keep the upper airway open when a patient is semi-conscious or cannot tolerate an oropharyngeal airway. The beveled distal tip and flared trumpet flange support atraumatic placement and secure positioning, while the smooth, kink-resistant lumen helps maintain airflow for suctioning, supplemental oxygen, or bag-valve-mask assistance. Clinicians use this NPA in EMS, ED, OR and inpatient care to reduce tongue-related obstruction and protect airway patency during transport, procedures and recovery. Choose size by measuring nostril to earlobe, lubricate with a water-based gel, and insert with the bevel toward the septum for a gentle, guided placement.
