Increase the efficiency of your asthma treatment with the Teleflex Pocket Aerosol Chamber. Metered-dose inhalers (MDI) spray can reach up to 60 mph, which results in the medicine simply hitting the back of the throat and not fully reaching your lungs to deliver treatment. With a pocket chamber, the additional space makes it easier to breathe in the medicine, turning it into smaller droplets for easy inhalation and without breathing too fast. Teleflex focuses on creating the best products to make breathing easier, meaning the Pocket Aerosol Chamber is top of the line.
Smaller than most spacers and pocket chambers as well as being lightweight, it is easy to toss into a bag or purse for convenient transport. The 22mm mouthpiece is protected by a cap that is tethered to the pocket chamber to ensure it stays in place and doesn’t get lost with day to day living.
The Aerosol Chamber is compatible with any MDI with the 4 leafed silicone end of the valve and the mouthpiece is compatible with several face masks such as the Sure Seal Anesthesia Face Mask if needed. The valve is one way, meaning it stops medicine from being exhaled back into it, making sure you get the most dosage possible. As an additional effective measure, the inside is lined with an anti-static material that repels the medicine so it does not get stuck to the side of the tube. Breathe easy knowing you are getting the most out of your medicine.

There are two defects: (1) after fewer than 2 uses, the cap, which is connected to the chamber by a plastic ring, so it won't get lost (which is good), no longer fits snugly on the chamber, although it still covers it. I worry that if the plastic ring breaks, the lack of a snug fit will be a problem; (2) the printed instructions don't make it clear what the orientation of the plastic seal around the bottom of the chamber should be for insertion of the aerosol.
