The Pleur-evac Cactus Series Chest Drainage System is an advanced dry suction, wet seal system for thoracic and cardiovascular fluid management.

Pleur-evac dry suction technology provides superior control and accuracy; as fluctuations occur in source suction or airflow, the device automatically adjusts to maintain suction levels, reducing the need for frequent manual adjustments. The easy-to-use control dial allows suction to be set from -10 to -40cm H2O and clicks into place for easy verification. Automatic pressure release valves prevent pressure buildup, and a built-in negative relief valve allows practitioners to vent excessive negative pressure manually.

Advanced tip-over protection keeps fluid contained when the device is tipped and prevents atmospheric air entry during suctioning. An easy-to-read, 7-column patient air leak meter indicates the size and progress of air leaks, allowing clinicians to quantify leaks quickly.

The entire Cactus series is autotransfusion compatible and features self-sealing, needleless sampling ports to ensure safe collection. The A-9250 model is also equipped with a reinfusion tube, large capacity ATS compartment, and 200-micron screen filter for continuous reinfusion with an IV pump.
