The Tegaderm PICC / CVC Securement Device is designed to simplify the process of IV securement, provide patient comfort, and protect the IV from external contaminants. The dressing's soft material is breathable yet water-resistant, keeping out liquids, bacteria, and viruses to prevent infection without compromising comfort. It's also not made with natural rubber latex to avoid possible skin irritation.
Application is made easy with a securement base that bypasses the need for doors or wings and instead uses visual cues. As a sutureless securement device, the dressing's silicone adhesive allows medical professionals to reposition the dressing for the perfect placement. A transparent window allows medical staff to monitor the IV without removing the dressing.
