This absorptive and breathable Tegaderm 90602 High Performance Foam Dressing features built-in multi-layer technology to improve fluid handling. It maintains a moist wound environment and prevents maceration to optimize wound healing. It is made from a polyurethane foam pad, absorbent layers, and a top layer of waterproof film that allows moisture to evaporate through it but prevents exudate strike-through.
This 4 x 8 inch 3M Tegaderm Foam wicks exudate away from the wound and retains it in the absorbent layer. It is then distributed across the moisture control layer where it evaporates through the breathable film. Non-adherent dressings can also be found here.
