Tegaderm 90220 High Integrity Alginate Rope is an ideal dressing for a variety of different wounds that have a moderate to high level of exudate. These can include everything from superficial wounds and abrasions to pressure ulcers and post operative wounds. It will absorb up to 20 times its weight in exudate and effectively creates a moist healing environment. This 12 x 1 inch Alginate Dressing is a rope designed to be placed inside of larger wounds and be secured with 3M cover dressings to create a clean and comfortable woundsite. The dressing itself gels completely and can be easily removed with gentle debriding to avoid damage to fragile tissues.
