These can include everything from superficial wounds and abrasions to pressure ulcers and post operative wounds. It will absorb up to 20 times its weight in exudate and effectively creates a moist healing environment. This 12 x 1 inch Alginate Dressing is a rope designed to be placed inside of larger wounds and be secured with 3M cover dressings to create a clean and comfortable woundsite. The dressing itself gels completely and can be easily removed with gentle debriding to avoid damage to fragile tissues.
