Description
Suture Strip is a Wound Closure Strip that provides improved wound security. Suture Strip is an economical replacement for the Suture Strip® Plus which offers greater flexibility, but at a higher cost. Suture Strip's inherent flexibility allows the strips to elongate and yield to the movement of skin. Manufactured by Derma Sciences, Suture Strips are made of flexible, nonwoven material. A skin-friendly adhesive secures the Suture Strips to the wound area. Suture Strips prevent the proximal ends from force concentration at the proximal ends, reducing the chances of traction blisters or skin shear. Suture Strips are water resistant and latex free. These Self Adhesive Dressing Bandages provide maximum porosity and vapor transmission to offer patients more comfort at the wound area.
