Derma Sciences Surgigrip Tubular Elastic Support Bandage offers additional compression support for bandages that need wrappings but don't need a full compression garment. This tubular gauze is made using a soft cotton knit interlaced material for a softer feel as it's being worn. The interlaced elastic material provides a seal and compresses the area, working best against nearly any bandage type. When it's not being used to secure bandages, the Surgigrip can also be applied for sprains, strains, soft-tissue injuries, joint and muscle aches, post graft pressure for burn patients and edema control. If you want an alternative to wrap bandages, the Tubular Support Bandage works well as an alternative form as well.
Surgigrip is able to remain on the limb or affected area without the need for other clips, tape or other securing devices. These are machine washable and provide 8-12 mmHg of compression. These can be used by medical professionals in facilities or used at home if needed. To avoid allergic reactions the bandage is made without natural rubber latex.
