Stimulite Mattress, constructed by Supracor, is excellent for both acute care and long-term care. The multi-zoned mattress features different structures of uniquely engineered Stimulite honeycomb. The Stimulite honeycomb provides finely calibrated pressure relief for different locations on the body, including the head, torso and heels.
Pressure relief is of the utmost importance, especially with regards to long-term care, as it will help to alleviate pain and discomfort from decubitus ulcers, more commonly known as bed sores or pressure sores. In addition to mitigating pain, the Stimulite Mattress will also prevent the development of decubitus ulcers.
The Stimulite Mattress works great as a complete mattress or as an overlay. However, if you are more interested in the overlay style, we also supply the Stimulite Mattress Overlay. This mattress overlay also features the ventilated Stimulite honeycomb footprint that provides unparalleled comfort and breathability.
With the Stimulite Mattress Overlay, you can be certain that you will receive a restful night's sleep. In fact, to ensure restful sleep, the mattress overlay features a dual-climate, reversible cover, specifically customized for the seasons. On one side the cover features 100% wool to keep you "warm" in the winter, and organic cotton to keep you "cool" in the summer.
The Stimulite Mattress Overlay is available in a twin, queen and king size. As with all Supracor products, both the Stimulite Mattress and Stimulite Mattress Overlay are washable.
