The Medline Standard Trapeze assists with patient transfers and positioning, such as sitting up in bed. The bar includes a triangle that attaches to a bed or a base that can be purchased separately, allowing the base to be freestanding.
The Standard Trapeze Bar assembles without tools. The bar is compatible with Medline and Invacare hospital bed models. It supports a weight capacity of 250 pounds and mounts to the hospital bed or to an optional base. As a free-standing base, it tucks underneath the bed. This creates a trapeze that's separate from the hospital bed and can be easily repositioned to the needs of the patient.
The bar is constructed with wall bumpers and padding on the mounting brackets so it won't scuff the wall or bed. The bar has a hammer finish with texture to resist scratches and keep the bar looking nice. Medline also offers an economy version with a black finish.
