This all purpose wound dressing is made with soft polyester/rayon non-woven material. This material is fast wicking and helps to provide a protective layer over the healing wound. Protecting the wound can help with eliminating unnecessary re-injury as well as help prevent infection.

This product features a pre-cut slit that fits nicely around chest, tracheostomy, feeding, gastric and IV tubes. Other sponges and gauzes that do not have this feature can be cut manually. This process can sometimes cause issues since the loose threads from the manual cutting can contaminate the wound. Sorbalux has the pre-cut slit which eliminates this issue.
