Sontara EC Wipes, manufactured by Hospeco, are engineered cloth wipers to offer the best all-around performance in a wipe. It's not a traditional wiping cloth or even a paper cloth, it is a class of its own. As the finest wiping cloth on the market, it is durable, resistant to abrasion, and has exceptional strength so it won't fall apart, even when used with isopropyl alcohol, cleaning agents, or solvents.
Sontara EC Engineered Cloth Wipers are versatile to wipe wet or dry. Its low-linting structure makes it ideal for dry application and its absorbency allow it to be used wet and soak up solvents, water, and oil.
Wipe Technology
Sontara EC Cloth Wipers are made from a fine spunlacing process to create the finest wiping fabrics without the use of binders and glues. Spunlacing is a bonding process using hydroentanglement, needle-like jets of water, to finely entangle the fibers. The wipes are made under strict guidelines to always deliver a consistent and reliable product. The materials used are so inexpensive that it can be used as a single-use disposable wipe or it can be washed and reused over and over.
