Alginate Composition

Simpurity Wound Dressing Alginate with Antibacterial Silver is designed with an alginate compound made from natural seaweed. Other alginate products often consist of fibers of calcium alginate formed into a loose fleece. With Simpurity, this structure has been improved by entangling the fibers to improve the dressing's strength when it becomes soaked with blood or exudate. Because of this, Simpurity Alginate with Silver can absorb 15-20 times their weight in exudate.

Gelling Fiber

By combining the alginate composition with FiberGel technology, these dressings help manage drainage and removal of dead, damaged, and infected tissue from the wound.
