Simpurity Hydrocolloid Dressing Overview
Simpurity Hydrocolloid Wound Dressing is designed to help facilitate a moist wound environment. This dressing forms a gel upon contact and provides absorption in a moist wound environment, which helps support epithelialization (the process of cells migrating upwards to repair the wounded area) and granulation. It can be easily removed without causing pain and damaging epithelial tissue.
Simpurity Hydrocolloid Dressing for Wounds is available in two sizes: 2x2 inch and 4x4 inch. It is great for treating second-degree burns, pressure ulcers, minor cuts, and minor abrasions.
This type of wound dressing is NOT intended for wounds, such as exposed muscle and bone, infected wounds, and exposed tendons.
