Manufacturer Description:
Silver Silicone Foam Dressing without Border features a silver silicone island dressing that provides a vapor permeable waterproof backing for long-term protection. The absence of a border allows the dressing to be easily cut and customized to fit the specific wound size and shape. The gentle adhesion of silicone especially minimizes pain and trauma when dressing changing.
Silver Silicone Foam Dressing without Border contains 0.25-0.35 mg/cm2 silver ions that promote effective antibacterial protection. This dressing absorbs wound exudate and releases silver ions within the dressing in the presence of wound fluid to help reduce bacterial colonization of the dressing. It also assists in the maintaining a moist environment for optimal wound healing.
Indications:
