Silent Call Medallion Series Fire Alarm Transmitter Overview

Fire Call Transmitter by Silent Call warns individuals who are hard of hearing when a fire alarm is activated. It can be connected to fire alarm systems in homes and other buildings. This alarm system alerts hearing-impaired occupants of fire danger before it is too late, allowing a safe departure from the building.

Model #FA4-MC, the Voltage Input Transmitter, uses fire panels that are already in the building. It is recommended to install this device via a licensed electrician. This device broadcasts a signal to any other Medallion Series Receiver when the fire alarm is activated. This model is powered by the fire panel.

Model #FA3-MC, the Contact Input Fire Alarm Transmitter, does the exact same thing as the other model -- transmits an alert to any Medallion Series Receiver whenever an alarm is activated -- but is wired into a dry-contact relay instead. This model operates on two AA batteries, which are included. It is recommended that a licensed electrician or fire alarm company is used to install this product.
