SenSura Mio 1-Piece Drainable Pouch by Coloplast has an elastic barrier to always get a proper fit. This is because the barrier can mold to the body's contours even if the region is misshapen due to a hernia, scar or skin fold. SenSura Mio can do this because of its elasticity that's much like skin so you can move with confidence.
Coloplast manufactures a variety of ostomy pouch types because not all stomas and stoma output are the same. A 1-piece drainable pouch is preferred by individuals with more liquid output so it can be drained easily without removing the pouch and causing irritation to the stoma. Also, a 1-piece stoma pouch tends to have a lower profile than a 2-piece drainable pouch. This makes it virtually undetectable under clothing and Coloplast gave the pouches a neutral gray opaque color shown to be more discreet over other colors. Since the elastic adhesive is integrated with the pouch, the entire appliance is removed when replaced.
The SenSura Mio Drainable Pouch has a redesigned filter with a protective pre-filter that lasts longer and reduces ballooning. The pouch is constructed with textile materials so that it feels natural against the skin and doesn't add friction to clothing.
SenSura Mio has a flat baseplate with a variety of pre-cut or cut-to-fit hole sizes when you want to customize the fit. When you want to be able to see the stoma during application, the opaque pouch has an inspection window. Each box contains 10 individual 1-Piece Pouches.
